An Introduction to Magick & The Inner World

Welcome to the first Mystic Moss Newsletter!


It is my deepest intention in this newsletter, to use all the knowledge I have accumulated (and let it boil over in my own mind) over the last few years of my journey, and share it with you in the best way I can that helps you to grow, transform, become, and connect to your true self and your magical self in a way that brings you great change and intense healing. 

First, a little backstory. In my last few years of my spiritual healing journey I have dealt with deep seated and intense emotions like panic, anxiety, depression, grief and doubt, that, if I had the option to choose, I would choose to never feel them again. I am sure you have felt that way once or many times in your own personal life and you can probably agree with me that these emotions are more than uncomfortable. At some point in your life you have probably said to yourself “Enough is enough”. Well, surprisingly, I have done this multiple times too, and as a result, have come across so many different healing tools that everyone has within themselves and around them that they don’t know they have access to! I have found a lot of things that are healing and actually useful, like crystals, reflexology, journaling, tarot cards, daily practices that help you to catch negative thoughts, EFT, herbal supplements, and so much more! It becomes so tiring and so stressful to feel like you can’t enjoy your life the way you want to because the same emotions and physical symptoms keep showing up and you have no idea how to cope or get rid of these “Abnormal” feelings. But, they are normal! We are all experiencing the same things day to day, where we feel chronic pain in a certain spot, we feel stuck at a job we definitely don’t love, we feel lonely, we feel stressed, we feel overwhelmed. Day to day we all experience the same common symptom, “feeling”! 


In my experience we all also have the same thing in common of pushing these things down until it becomes such a big issue that we can’t overlook anymore and are forced by the universe to take a sideline so we can figure out why we feel this way and why it’s affecting our body and our health. These moments, to me, are a perfect opportunity for shadow work. If you are unfamiliar with Shadow work, then keep following along with my weekly newsletter, because you WILL become familiar with it. The shadow side of yourself is the side that holds all your trauma, big or small, and stores it away for you until you are ready to face it and release it so that you can live your best life as your best self. If we find ourselves having waited too long your shadow can spill over into your external life showing up as blockages and dis-ease.


 Have you ever wondered why you seem to keep dating the same people over and over again? Can’t seem to let go of the anger you feel towards someone? Do you have chronic back pain? Do you suffer from physical illnesses like ear infections, irregular periods, tendonitis, stomach aches or something more intense? Well, if you didn’t already know this then I will be the first to tell you, that your shadow, or your subconscious mind, are trying to get your attention to heal something that you have hidden away that is STILL affecting you on a cellular level. 


Over the course of this newsletter, I want to really dive deep into the WHY and HOW of everything I possibly can. I am an obsessive question asker when it comes to finding the source of anything uncomfortable and stressful. I have spent a lot of my personal time finding correspondences, researching the body-mind connection, trying different techniques, and all the while trying to stay connected to a spiritual source through Tarot, Oracle, Spellwork, Crystals, etc. I truly believe we all have it in us to find our own personal sources of pain and suffering and transmute it into something beautiful. If you are unsure why this is important to do, then your shadow self and your ego are telling you that you don’t deserve the healing. Can you imagine a life where you are happy to wake up, have a pain free day either physically or mentally, and feel like you are fulfilling your purpose as a human being? Quality of life is why it’s important, and I want to take you on this journey with me so that we can all live our most magickal lives and get back in touch with ourselves and the unseen worlds that govern us. 


So, I hope you will continue to join me as I help you discover yourself through your emotions, and spirituality. I will do my best to explain to you through my words, how you can use these different tools, techniques, and healing modalities, and hopefully just learn a little more about emotions and the body. Even if it isn’t something you personally experience then hopefully you can share the information with someone that is experiencing it so that we can collectively heal our inner wounds. It is my intention to frame these newsletters with a basic emotion, then go into where it can be stored in the body, then adding tips and tools that help to aid this emotion. It is very important to me that I uncover the emotions one at a time and add something witchy or spiritual to the practice. It is essential that while you are learning about the emotions, you are putting the knowledge into practice through witchcraft type things,  because not only is my goal to teach you about the emotions and healing your shadow side but it is also to help you deepen your connection to your higher self.
